It Started With a Question. Then Things Got Interesting.

I didn't set out to start a personal-care company.

I set out to make some changes in my own life.

I started paying closer attention to what I was eating, what I was putting on my skin, and the ingredients in the products my family and I used every day.

I became the person standing in the store, turning bottles around, reading labels, researching ingredients, and asking one very simple question:

Why is all of this in here?

The more I learned, the more curious I became. And eventually, curiosity turned into determination.

I wanted to make products I understood, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients that actually served a purpose.

So I started making them myself.

One formula turned into another. Then another.

There were notebooks full of research, ingredients everywhere, late-night experiments, plenty of adjustments, some pretty fantastic results, and a few batches that will forever remain in the well, that was educational category. 😂

But somewhere between all that researching, measuring, mixing, and experimenting, something happened.

What started as a personal choice became something I wanted to share.

And RAH/CEL was born.

The Name? That's Personal.

First things first, it's pronounced rah-sell.

And no, I didn't hire a branding agency to dream it up.

RAH/CEL was created from the names of the people who mean the world to me:

Rebecca, Anthony, Heather, Courtney, Ethan, and Leone.

My four children, my grandson, and me.

Family isn't some marketing angle we added after the fact. It's literally built into our name.

It's also at the heart of why I started.

I wanted to make more intentional choices for the people I love. Now I get to share those products with people who are making their own choices about what belongs in their homes.

That's something I don't take lightly.

Because when your family name is attached to something, you better be proud of what you're putting out there.

And I intend to be.

Thoughtful Ingredients. No Unnecessary Nonsense.

At RAH/CEL, we believe an ingredient should earn its place in a formula.

Whether it's grass-fed beef tallow, jojoba oil, beeswax, botanical ingredients, essential oils, or something functional that helps a product perform properly, we want to understand what it does and why we're using it.

We're not here to convince you that everything natural is automatically better, or that every ingredient with a scientific name is something to fear.

We're here to make informed choices.

We research. We formulate. We test. We adjust.

And sometimes we go right back to the drawing board because almost right isn't quite good enough.

Our approach is pretty straightforward:

Use what serves a purpose. Leave out what doesn't. And be honest about what's inside.

No miracle promises. No mysterious magic potions.

Just thoughtfully developed products, handcrafted in small batches, with a whole lot of intention behind them.

Florida Made. Florida Inspired. Florida Attitude.

RAH/CEL is proudly handcrafted in Florida.

And if you've spent any time here, you know Florida has a personality all its own.

Salt air, sea oats, old porches, afternoon thunderstorms, sandy feet, blazing sunshine, and humidity that can turn a perfectly respectable hairstyle into a personal crisis before 9 a.m.

We love it all. Well, most of it. The mosquitoes are still under review. 😂

That Old Florida character is woven into our brand, from the coastal-inspired scents and product names to the colors, artwork, and slightly salty sense of humor.

But we're not trying to sell you an imaginary tropical escape.

We're making practical products for real people living real lives.

And sometimes those people have beards, tired feet, dry hands, or four-legged family members who could use a little extra paw care.

Everybody's got something.

From My Worktable to Your Home

One of the most rewarding parts of building RAH/CEL has been watching something that started in my own home find its way into yours.

There's something pretty incredible about that.

Products I spent hours researching, making, testing, labeling, and packaging are now being used by people I've met at farmers markets, people who've supported us online, and people who took a chance on a small Florida business.

And somewhere along the way, the markets became about more than setting up a table and selling products.

They became conversations. Familiar faces. People coming back to tell me what they loved. New friendships. A chance to answer questions, talk ingredients, and get to know the community we're becoming part of.

Those little moments mean a whole lot.

Every purchase, every conversation, every person who tells someone else about RAH/CEL helps turn this crazy idea into something bigger.

That's the kind of growth I believe in. Community over corporations. Connection over hype.

And good products that speak for themselves.

We're Just Getting Started.

Here's the thing about me: once I get curious about something, I tend to go all in.

Sometimes that means researching an ingredient for hours. Sometimes it means developing a new formula, learning a new skill, or deciding that one perfectly good idea needs approximately seventeen more experiments.

Apparently, I don't know how to do things halfway. 😂

RAH/CEL is growing, and so are our ideas.

Body care, fragrance, grooming essentials, products for our four-legged crew, and whatever useful little problem-solving creations come next.

But I never want to lose the reason we started.

Family. Curiosity. More intentional choices. Thoughtful ingredients. And making something we're genuinely proud of.

We're a woman-owned, family-run business built with determination, hard work, a little stubbornness, and a healthy appreciation for laughing at ourselves.

We're not pretending to have everything figured out.

We're building, learning, creating, and having a pretty good time doing it.
