How do you pronounce RAH/CEL, and what does it mean?
RAH/CEL is pronounced “rah-sell.”
The name comes from my family — my name, my four children, and my grandson. Their initials became RAH/CEL.
Three generations. One name.
Family is where this started, and it remains at the heart of what I'm building.

We're beginning close to home and launching RAH/CEL at local Florida markets first.

What makes RAH/CEL products different?
We keep things pretty simple.
We make small-batch products using ingredients chosen because they have a reason to be there — not because they make an ingredient list sound impressive.
We care about how a product works, what goes into it, and being honest about both.

Are your products made in the USA?
Yes.
RAH/CEL products are handcrafted in small batches here in Florida.
Are your products natural?
We start with nature whenever it makes sense — tallow, plant oils and butters, minerals, botanicals, and essential oils.
Some formulas also need functional ingredients such as preservatives, antioxidants, or solubilizers to keep them safe, stable, and working properly.
When we use one, we'll tell you exactly what it is and why it's there.
Do you use synthetic fragrances?
No. We do not use added synthetic fragrance oils.
Our scented products use carefully developed essential oil blends. Unscented options are available where appropriate.
Do you test your products on animals?
We do not test our finished products on animals.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Some RAH/CEL products are specifically made with sensitive skin in mind, including Gentle Tide.
But everyone's skin is different.
Always check the full ingredient list and patch test a new product before using it more broadly.
If irritation occurs, stop using it.
Salt & Stillness — Coastal Calm Magnesium Mist
What is magnesium mist used for?
Salt & Stillness is a topical magnesium mist made with magnesium chloride and our Coastal Calm essential oil blend.
It's designed to fit easily into an everyday body-care or evening ritual.
Why does magnesium sometimes tingle?
Topical magnesium can sometimes cause a tingling or warming sensation, especially during the first few uses.
If you're new to magnesium mist, start with a small amount.
Avoid freshly shaved, irritated, or broken skin.
Where should I apply magnesium mist?
Apply to clean, unbroken skin.
Common areas include the feet, legs, shoulders, and arms.
Avoid the eyes, face, freshly shaved skin, and irritated or broken skin.
Can I use magnesium mist every day?
It can be used as part of your regular routine.
Start with a small amount and see how your skin responds.
Gentle Tide Tallow Cream — Sensitive Skin — Unscented
What is tallow?
Tallow is rendered beef fat that has been used traditionally in skin care for generations.
We use grass-fed beef tallow as the foundation of Gentle Tide because it creates a rich, simple moisturizer without needing a long ingredient list.
Will Gentle Tide feel greasy?
It's rich, so a little goes a long way.
Start with a small amount and give it a moment to warm into the skin.
You can always add more.
Can I use Gentle Tide on my face?
Gentle Tide can be used on the face or body.
Because everyone's skin is different, start with a small amount and patch test first if you're trying it for the first time.
How should I store Gentle Tide?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Tallow responds naturally to temperature, so you may notice small changes in texture as the weather changes.
That's normal.
Tallow Beard Balm — Medium Hold — Coastal Smoke
What does the beard balm do?
Our beard balm is made to condition the beard while providing medium hold to help keep stray hairs in place.
Warm a small amount between your fingers, work it through your beard, and shape as needed.
How much beard balm should I use?
Start small — especially with a shorter beard.
You can always add more, but it's much harder to take it back out. 😄
Can I use the beard balm every day?
Yes.
Use as little or as much as works for your beard and the amount of hold you want.
Product & Safety Questions
Are RAH/CEL products FDA approved?
Cosmetic products are not individually approved by the FDA before going to market.
RAH/CEL is responsible for making and labeling our products in accordance with the regulations that apply to them.
Are RAH/CEL products intended to treat medical conditions?
No.
RAH/CEL products are made for personal care and everyday wellness routines.
They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
Can I use RAH/CEL products during pregnancy or while nursing?
Pregnancy can change what ingredients are appropriate for you.
Check the complete ingredient list for the individual product and speak with your healthcare professional if you have questions about using a particular ingredient during pregnancy or while nursing.
