What Is It?

Olive oil is pressed from olives and is one of the principal fats in our traditional cold-process soap base.

Why We Chose It

It contributes to a firm, conditioning bar with a smooth, gentle-feeling lather when balanced with other soapmaking oils.

Fun Fact

Ancient Greek athletes rubbed olive oil on their bodies, then scraped away the oil and dirt with a curved metal tool called a strigil. Their post-workout routine sounds a little more dramatic than ours.
