ORGANIC JOJOBA OIL

Technically a Wax. Still Fabulous.

Jojoba comes from the seeds of a desert shrub. Although we call it jojoba oil, its chemistry is closer to a liquid wax than a typical plant oil.

Why We Chose It

It spreads easily, helps soften skin and beard hair, and plays nicely with richer ingredients. We love it for the smooth finish it brings to personal care.

Good to Know

Jojoba's waxy makeup is also one reason it is relatively resistant to rancidity compared with many plant oils.

Fun Fact

Jojoba is a liquid wax rather than an ordinary plant oil. Its unusual chemistry led researchers to explore it as a substitute for sperm-whale oil in industrial lubricants. Even machinery has had a jojoba moment.
