MEADOWFOAM SEED OIL
MEADOWFOAM SEED OIL
Small Flower, Big Personality
Meadowfoam seed oil is pressed from the seeds of meadowfoam, a North American flowering plant. It contains an unusual mix of long-chain fatty acids that make the oil relatively resistant to oxidation.
Why We Chose It
We choose it for a soft, smooth skin feel and for the way it complements richer oils. It's subtle, but sometimes the quiet ingredients do some of the best work.
Good to Know
Meadowfoam oil is not the same thing as a foaming cleanser—the name comes from the flowers, not bubbles.
Fun Fact
Meadowfoam got its wonderfully strange name because masses of its small white flowers can make a field look like it is covered in sea foam. The name refers to the blooms—not bubbles in the oil.
